It all started about 5 years ago with a Prusa I3MK3 FDM 3D printer and available ready to print files I found on the internet. After some time, I wanted to print something specific and unique (for example a broken part of my grandma's antique blender) and began studying free online tutorials and through trial-and-error I taught myself to work with Fusion 360, Blender and PrusaSlicer.
Since I wanted to understand how things work — and build something myself — I learned how to program microcontrollers in Arduino IDE (C++), create a custom PCB, design user interface, set up display in NextionEditor and step by step turned a hobby into a nationally recognized engineering project named REHABit.
This project of the programmable motor wrist rehabilitation device developed in consultation with a clinical professional and made from scratch in order to help patients in the process of regaining wrist mobility won 3rd place at Mladý Tvorca (National Competition) and made it to the National Round of SPA 2025 (Student's professional activities) a.k.a. SOČ in Category 12 — Electrical Engineering, Hardware, Mechatronics.
